AA CAVE (Harper 2008) no. 25

Not a cave in the speleological sense of the word but a karstified limestone surface with estimated up to 20 m deep grikes (grykes, karren) consisting of another series of eroded rifts like Makkre Kol -- all approximately 20 m in depth but Rob Harper (2008.02.18 Mss: Cave No. 25.pdf) possibly had not measured the depths of them all. ETYMOLOGY: No locally known name has been identified for this assemblage of grikes and dykes (note 1). SITUATION: A local guide [is] essential to explain the whereabouts of Cave No. 25 as it was understood to lie not only more or less somewhere but also comparatively near (sic!) one of the nine distinct Nengkhong villages in the vicinity of where the Chibe River (N25°18'13”: E090°36'52” WGS84) joins the Rongdik. According to the recorded GPS position (note 2), the surface rifts forming the so-called Cave No. 25 lie at a linear distances of about 800 m approximately west (–74 m north, –703 m east) from –>AA Cave (Harper 2008) 24, and about 1292 m approxmately west-northwest (291 m north, –1258 m east) from –>Dikkakol (N25°19'50.7”: E090°36'01.3”: 209).
