EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2015.02.05: Daphyrnai Sariang from Umkyrpong, then acting as a guide, walked Brian D. Kharpran Daly, D. Khlur B. Mukhim and Oana Mirela Chachula from Umkyrpong to the west, starting at the village end of the bridge [note 2], to find new caves. … the first one was Krem Lyntung, half an hour’s walk from the camp. … After having started the survey properly (8 series) they left because time was running. They wanted to locate Krem Tarong, which was said to be a bat cave. Even the local guide was not sure about the exact location but Khlur followed the stream and found the cave [–>AA Cave, Umkyrpong, Mukhim 2015] and no bats were found whereupon the cave was left unsurveyed for the time being (Anonymous [Arbenz T, Brooks S J et al.] 2015.04.03 Mss: Diary 2015.docx 5th February 2015 Thursday).
