An unspecified cave, complete with unknown whereabouts, is allegedly known as Krem Psiar Mynrop and said to be situated somewhere in the vicinity of Samasi (I.B. 25°24'01.6”N: 92°32'57.4”E) but has not yet been identified. ETYMOLOGY: The Synteng -myn- (generally pronounced as myng) is an abbreviation of -um- (river), as myn khen for um khen (SINGH, N 1906: 135). SINGH, N (1906: 164) lists not a single Khasi word starting with -ps…“ and SINGH, N (1906: 164) lists no -rop- while the Khasi noun -ka rup- is the reverse side; the side of a cloth not coloured or the colour of which does not come out distinctly (SINGH, N 1906: 176).
