Location
At the place Landi Khana on the pass called Landi Kotal (note 2), and a few metres from a small creek (Landi Khana Khwar?) on the western / Afghanistan side of the Khyber Pass (Kowtal-e Keiber, Khaeber, Khaibar, Khaybar, Kyber).
Description
Brief description
A somewhat triangular entrance (note 1), estimated to be about 5 m wide and 6 m high, gives access to an apparently natural (modified?) cave with a more or less level floor.
History
EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1878.11.23: Sir Samuel Browne and staff bivouacked [LUNDI KHANA 1879].
