Description
An effective and perennially active but impenetrable sink, which drains the –>Waikutaran (Kutabram) Depression, is situated approximately 1250 m in a direct line approximately east (290°?) of the village of Chibak (Nongsibak, Shibak) and in the direction towards Waikutaran / Kutabram peak (N25°14'32”: E091°01'07” WGS84 modified after N25°14'30": E091°01'18" Everest 1830).
History
EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1867, November: Henry Haversham GODWIN AUSTEN (1867, 1869a) visited »Kutabram« cliff. 2003.02.17: Simon J. Brooks, Georg Bäumler and somebody else, led by an unidentified guide (not identified), visited and tried to find a going entrance but found only estimated 20 m of explorable passage between boulders.
