Location

A 2hr walk from the Kong Mong Tha ranger station. A small stream can be followed to a base of a limestone cliff where there is a boulder choked resurgence. An upper entrance is located 10m above the resurgence. Martin Ellis - 22/09/2019

The entrance drops down into the stream just behind the boulder choke. After about 100m the first exploration was stopped by a 1.5m King Cobra standing its ground in a narrow section of cave with the stream way continuing beyond. On a return in 2004 this section was passed and the streamway was explored for a further xxxm to a 4m waterfall that was not ascended

History

The first 100m of the cave was explored and surveyed by Dean Smart, Terry Bolger, Phil Oakley and Paul Johnson on 8 April 2002. Exploration was continued on 22 March 2004 by Dean Smart, Terry Bolger, Neil Anderson, Paul and Pete Johnson to the base of a 4m waterfall. Martin Ellis - 22/09/2019
