Description
A relatively small sized cave entrance leads to 18 m of walking sized cave passage, which is formed in schist, ot tectonic origin, leads to a collapse (note 1). SITUATION: Close to –>Bakhre Odar 1, at an altitude of 2440 m, and near the village of Banthanti (note 2) 2 m from the trail connecting Ulleri with Ghorepani. CHABERT (1996.11.15 personal correspondence): »Nangethati Gupha is now [note 3] Bakhre Odar no.2. [Here, the caves numbered] 1 and 2 are very close (20 to 30 m) [to each other], no.3 is further up, very near the small bridge crossing the river.«

NOTE 2: Also spelled Bantati, Bantanti, and Banthati. Distinct from Nangethati / Nangethanti: NOTE 3: »Nangethati gupha, but this year I have to change its name, according to better information.
