Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

An east facing rock shelter (up to 6 m wide, 2 m high, 2.5 m wide) in front of a flat out crawl entering from approximate north. The daylight-lit part of the shelter contains rock art depicting a welter of fighting human figures. On 2001.01.05 the imprisoned rock art site was impressively marked ASI 3 and was pathetically, if not pathologically disfigured with tremendous pointed iron spears, which were tangled with lots of barbed wire leaving spacious lateral gaps allowing catastrophic access from the sides.SITUATION: North-east of Pachmarhi on Marodeo Pahar, the hill on the right-hand side of the track to Bania Beri. Marked ASI 3 and dreadfully fenced off with tremendous pointed iron spears interwoven with barbed wire but nevertheless easily accessible from the sides.
