Description
An about 3 m wide and 2.4 m high cave entrance leads to an estimated 5 m long single chamber in what Brooks (1995 Mss, item 18) assumed to be gneiss. SITUATION: Somewhere in the vicinity of a village of Kudawe or Kudave and Kuduwe (note 1), which is said to lie in the Sinharaja Forest (N06°24'00”: E080°30'32” WGS84) and in the wet lowland zone (DERANIYAGALA 1980: 172) .
