Location
Khao Khanab Nam is a famous landmark 15 minutes by boat up the river to the north from Krabi town. To get there hire a boat from either Chao Fah Pier or Thara Park Pier to the cave for 400 baht per hour. The cave opens daily from 8am-5.30pm and admission is 30 baht per head and free for small children.
Description
Steep ladders up a cliff face lead to a huge airy cavern which is lit by two large daylight holes. The two legendary swords of Krabi were allegedly found here and the legend attributes the karst tower as the remains of the body of some sword fighters. Human skeletons have also been found in the cave.

History
In November 2008 Krabi province agreed to spend 20 million baht to develop the cave a a tourist attraction. By 2016 the cave had been developed as a museum with archaeological and histororic displays.
