Description
Unspecified caves (man-made rock chambers or natural caves) reports ARCHÆOLOGY IN AFGHANISTAN (1879: 554) from the rocks near the tope, as well as at the base of the hills near at hand where the -tope- (tapa, tepe = mound) of Peer Kamil Baba (ARCHÆOLOGY IN AFGHANISTAN 1879) is also called Pire Kamel Baba (N34°18'26”: E070°47'35” WGS84, nima.mil/geonames accessed 28.05.2004). SITUATION: Near Chardeh (Chahardeh N34°19': E070°46') and some 37 km along the road east of Jalalabad (N34°25'49”: E070°27'10”).
