Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

A certain U Meding (with an unidentified surname) guided Harald Scherzer and Franz Lindenmayr on 7th January 2015 from somewhere in the village of Chiehruphi along an unidentified route for an unspecified distance in an unidentified direction to a clearing with a coal miners' pit (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified characteristics). IDENTITY: Unknown but the same as –>Pyrda Mine Pit (Lindenmayr 2015.04.29) and –>Pyrda Mine Pit (Scherzer 2015) and most likely distinct from the man-made mine pit which was found in 1997 and 1998 to intersect the natural cave passages of Krem –>Pyrda, Chiehruphi (note 1). SITUATION 1: Unknown. The screen of Franz Lindenmayr's digital camera (Panasonic DMC FT-4) had displayed a GPS position which was erroneously recorded as 25124728 - 9223473 (note 2). It is obvious that this record contains at least one typographical error which renders this position very unlikely because each of the possibly displayed fprmats indicates location which are definitely too far off DD.DDDDDD° 25.124728°N: 92.234730°E = 25°07'29.0”N: 92°14'05.0”E DD°MM.MMMM' 25°12.4728'N: 92°23.4730'E = 25°12'28.4”N: 92°23'28.4”E = 25.20788°N: 92.391217°E DD°MM'SS.SS” 25°12'47.28”N: 92°23'47.30”E = 25.213133°N: 92.396472°E.
