An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a so-called Naya Cave with a day roost of bats (THAPA, S 2010.05.15: 29). IDENTITY: The so-called Naya Cave (THAPA, S 2010.05.15: 29) is probably one of the cave entrances of the –>Chakratirtha - Parahamsa Gufa. ETYMOLOGY: The half-breed cave name Naya Cave (THAPA, S 2010.05.15: 29) is not only fathered by the adjective -nayan- (East Pahari: Gorkhali / Nepali) or new (English) but also by the noun -cave- (English) meaning gufa (East Pahari: Gorkhali / Nepali). SITUATION: THAPA, S (2010.05.15: 29) locates the Naya Cave not only in an unspecified setting somewhere in the vicinity of the Chobar gorge (note 1) and above one or the other banks of the Bagmati River but also in an unidentified spatial relations to the cave entrances of –>Bagh Cave, Chobar, –>Barahi Cave, Chobar, and –>Manjushri Cave, Chobar.
