Twenty (20) »rock shelters« with rock art, that is to say paintings in white, red and yellow, depicting animals and humans in hunting postures (THAPAR, B K 1979) somewhere in the vicinity of a place called Neekheria (note 1) in Vidisha district.
NOTE 1: »Neekheria« is not identified as it is not listed on nima.mil/geonames (accessed 16.11.2003) or in IMPERIAL GAZETTEER (1907-1909, 25: 407) and the India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006 index) or shown on the India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006: 54).
