An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a relatively dry and dusty, warm and an estimated 15 m long cave passage characterised by two cave chambers and containing two relatively small stalagmites (speleothems) of unidentified size. SITUATION: North of the river and on the south side of the limestone outcrop (Breitenbach 2005.11.04 Mss: Notebook), immediately above one Kuldev Vidhya mandir (temple) without GPS position (Kotliya 2005.11.04 Mss: Notebook), the cave entrance lies a few metres above the road at a certain place called Joshigaon (note 1), a village somewhere (note 2) at a travelling distance of 18 km along the road (note 3) from Bageshwar (N29°51': E079°46': 975 m) approximately south-west to Almora (N29°37': E079°40': 1650 m). . CULTURAL HISTORY - human use / storage: Part of the cave is used to stack hay. CAVE CONTENTS: Breitenbach (2005.12.01 Mss: Bricht) found a coin, dated 1982, in this cave. WEATHER CONDITIONS (2006.11.04, unidentified time): 1013.2 hPa (856.3 hPa local).
