JAJMAU CAVE

A fabulous, 8 or 10 km long cave imagined by BLAVATSKY (1831-1891, alias Radda Bay) to be situated somewhere at Jajmau in »Cawnpore« (Kanpur): »…The whole passage, with its corridors, as far as we could judge, was some five of six miles long. Having walked for some three miles, counting from the secret door, in other words about halfway between the two passages, we came to an enormous natural cave, with a little lake in its centre … Asgarta … To reach the surface we had to climb three consecutive series of endless steps …«
