An unspecified cave (or so) is said to be known as Ngate Longki (Imna Longkumer, Mokokchung, 2002.12.29 personal communication). ETYMOLOGY: The Ao -ngate longki- was said to translate as mother of all holes (Imna Longkumer, Mokokchung, 2002.12.29 personal communication) or, to be precise, of all stone holes (stone caves). SITUATION: Somewhere in the vicinity of Umnga (±1 km N26°17'45”: E094°00'20” AMS sheet NG46-08 Sibsagar, U542 series, 1955 edition), a village about 3 km or 4 km south-west of Mokokchung (±1 km N26°19'30”: E094°31'40” WGS84).
