Description
At Tapoban, towards Badrinath, is a hot spring. Rock crystal abounds in the vicinity of the snow [note 1] (HAMILTON BUCHANAN, F 1819 edited 2009: 301). SITUATION: Apparently somewhere on an approch to Badrinath (N30°44': E079°29') and, perhaps, on the 45 km long way (note 2) from Joshimath (N30°34': E079°34') generally NNE and along the Alaknanda (also: Sarasvati).At Tapoban, towards Badrinath, is a hot spring.
