An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to an unidentified cave called Krem Um Suwe near Musianglamare (Kharpran Daly 2004.07.18 Mss). ETYMOLOGY: The origin and meaning of the recorded cave name Krem Um Suwe (Kharpran Daly 2004.07.18 Mss) is hidden in the realm of thick fog, which is also known as the abode of the clouds, but the Khasi noun -u suwai- signifies particles of sand or dust (SINGH, N 1906: 214) whilst -siew (Khasi; verb) to pay (SINGH, N 1906: 203) and -eh- (adverb) very; exceedingly (SINGH, N 1906: 75) and dearly (SINGH, N 1920: 108).
