A deep natural well known by the name of Janaki Kund occurs near Chitrakut (CRAVEN, S A 1969: 28 after personal ccorrespondence with Mr. Ravi Prakash, the U.P. Director of Geology and Mining). SITUATION: In the streambed of the Paisuni west of –>Chitrakoot town (note 1).
