Description
A relatively short, solutionally formed cave —possibly a remnant— formed on a vein of calcite. SITUATION: On the road from Quetta via Kost to Harnai, and shortly after passing the Levi post at the south end of the gorge called Chappar Rift. The road runs above some low cliffs, turns a sharp bend, and runs back on itself. At the GPS position N30°20'48.3-: E067°27'54.9' (±6 m, WGS84) the hourglass-shaped cave entrance to the cave cane be easily seen in the aforementioned cliffs which lie some 150 m north of the road (note 1). CAVE DESCRIPTION: The hour glass shaped cave entrance (up to 3 m wide and 9 m high) lies on the first tier of limestone cliffs north of the road from the –>Chappar Rift to Harnai.
