General information
An old and dilapidated well into which Meer Mahumud Hadjee Shah (Mir Mahmud Haji Shah), when he was young, was lowered by his friends on a rope fastened to a piece of board, so as to form a seat (note 1). CAVE LIFE: When Meer Mahumud Hadjee Shah (Mir Mahmud Haji Shah) was young, he noticed note only wild pigeons but also (inadvertently) a snake (Mrs. Meer HASSAN ALI, B. 1832 edited by William CROOKE 1917, letter 27).
