Description
An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to an unspecified cave (anonymous Arbenz, T in: anonymous Brooks, S J et al. 2014.04.05 Mss: Diary Meghalaya 2014 Second Edit: 22nd February, Saturday). ETYMOLOGY: The meaning and origin of the recorded name of this -krem- (standard / Sohra Khasi) or, in this case more likely, -krang- (Lakadong Khasi) or cave (English) called Phlang Labiat (note 1) is obscured by fog in an abode of clouds (anonymous Brooks, S J et al. 2014.04.05 Mss). Since the word -phlang- or grass is expressively said to play the essential role, we can safely assume that rather -Phlang 'Labet- or Sedge Grass Blades (note 2) are meant than the admittedly much more fantastic -Phlang Labiat- or a mainly nocturnal plants with long narrow leaves capable of sustained flight, with membranous wings. SITUATION: Unknown. In an unspecified setting but apparently in an terrin where a sedge-kind of grass grows (Cyperaceae: Carex and other genera), and at an unidentified location somewhere in the vicinity of the villages of Lakadong or Ummat on the Lakadong - Umlatdoh Plateau.in where a sedge-kind of grass grows (Cyperaceae: Carex and other genera), and at an unidentified location somewhere in the vicinity of the villages of Lakadong or Ummat on the Lakadong - Umlatdoh Plateau.
