Description
A south-east facing, 6 m wide and 20 m long side passage (THIMMA REDDY, K 1980). SITUATION: At an unidentified distance somewhere south of Billa Surgam proper but in the same canon and 3 m above the stream bed. CULTURAL HISTORY - archaeology: THIMMA REDDY, K (1980: 207- 210, fig. 2, plate 1a) perfomed an archaeological / palaentological excavation under the general guidance of Prof. Sankalia (Director of the Deccan College, Pune) and confirmed the results of the Foote's.
