Close the gate behind you.
This is private property but the cave is open during daylight hours to the public. Lots of cattle share this area so wear shoe protection is recommended. You can also view it from Google Maps from the street view, its very big and visible. as of this publishing the very friendly Hoyt family owns this property, please be respectful and close the gate. "This is a cave in limestone cliff just south of Pamona, Kansas. Supposedly, this is a place where Jesse James and his gang would frequent and camp at. It was reported that the initials JJ were once carved into the walls, but have since disappeared." - abstract from Undergroundozarks.
