Description
An up to 5 m wide and high cave entrance leads to a linear, 50 odd metre long cave developed at river terrace level and in a mudstone layer sandwiched between strata, which, more resistant to weathering, dip at an approximate angle of 60° to about south. The cave, first reported as Cave at Sibi Harni Road (Durrani Khan 1997.06.16), was found (November 1997) to be dust dry but dry meandering ditches in the dry floor indicate a small rivulet issuing from the cave in wet conditions. In the dry season, however, the cave floor featured piles of mud broken into angular lumps and the cave walls were draped with mud curtains. Judging from fire places, sucked sugarcane and the like, the the daylight lit area was used by humans as a picnic place at least once. SITUATION (note 1): About 100 m in a direct line approximately north of Nari Nala Ghara 1. CAVE LIFE: Small but very long tailed bats (Chiroptera) with kind of 'hooked noses' considered (1997.11.07) the cave a suitable place to honourthe Lord with digestion and other duties laden on worldly creatures by Him who may, if he fancies, multiply the duration of eternity to allow additional digestion time.the Lord with digestion and other duties laden on worldly creatures by Him who may, if he fancies, multiply the duration of eternity to allow additional digestion time.
