A fine piece of workmanship. The man-made, troglodyte rock chamber (about 1.8 m wide, high and long), including a stone couch complete with a massive sandstone pillow (hygienic and free from bed bugs) opposite caross from the entrance, is excavated from solid rock SITUATION: On the fortified fortress hill –>Kalinjar Fort (N24°59'50”: E080°28'50” WGS84; obsolete: Kallingur). CAVE DESCRIPTION: »Sitá-sej (Sita's bed) opens to the lower portion of a rampart« and characterised by a »curious ceiling with shelves« (MAISEY 1848: 178-179 notes 24-26).
