EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2002.12.12: Imna Longkumer (Student leader, Mokokchung) reported the cave name Sakukima to Neil Sootinck. 2002.12.29: Neil Sootinck, Lindsay B. Diengdoh and H. D. Gebauer in company with Giuseppe Pagliarulo, Davide Messina Panfalone and Giovanni Giannanoto visited Mongchen village, following rumors heard at Longkhum and informed by Imna. Upon meeting not only Limawati (chaiman) and other member of the Mongchen Village Council, but also a preposterous youngster and an intelligent student leader (Lemayo?), it was decided to procrastinate the attempt to explore a hole which, perhaps, nobody ever had seen because nobody goes to the jungle on sundays.
