Description
The cave has just a few metres of overlaying limestone. The cave is very branched with well proportioned galleries and three daylight openings. The horizontal entrance is 5 m wide and 6 m high. 20 m from the entrance the main passage running NS is crossed by a NE-SW passage. One follows the SW course, passing a daylight opening, to reach another crossing. To the SW direction one continues over a small climb into a tight cleft partially covered with calcite formations, which becomes impassable after 30 m. Shortly before the climb the remainders of well decorated pottery was found (probably older than the civil war times). The network of spacious rift passages to the SE and S (with a drainage ditch on the floor) partly connects back to the entrance passage. In NE direction the cave continues with a change of crawls and high rifts, which are partly decorated with calcite formations. The N extension ends in a boulder choke. In the cave only insects and spiders were observed. Only the most western rift showed partially conglomerate fillings. Am air temperature of 20,2°C was measured.
