Description
A modified natural sacred rock shelter (temple cave), which faces an unidentified direction and is an estimated 10 m wide, 5 m high and 2 m deep, was understood to be dedicated to an unidentified deity (DUCLUZAUX 1993d: 45 and Gilles Rousson without acknowledging their informants and guides . ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for what has been christened Grotte de Kusara (Cave at Kusara) after a village of that name.SITUATION: In an area which lies at an unspecified walking distance approximately north-east of Pithoragarh (N29°35': E080°13': 1815 m) and somewhere north-east of a village called Marth (DUCLUZAUX 1993d: 45) or Mardh (DUCLUZAUX 1993d: 46 location map).
