GIDHAILA PAHAR, Ramnagar, Amarpathan (Cave on)

What appears to indicate a sacred cave (temple cave) is indicated as Spring Cave Annual fair (January) on the Survey of India sheet 63-H/03 (edition 1967) at a situation: 1) Near the top of a cliff on the northern flank of Gidhaila Pahar, at 721 m asl the highest hill in the area; 2) At a linear distance of 6 km due north of the village of Ramnagar N24°13': E081°10' (Satna district, Amarpathan taluk) falling on the Survey of India sheet 63-H/04 (not seen) and on AMS sheet NG44-15 Rewa (U502 series, 1959 edition); 3) At a linear distance of 30 km south-west of Rewa town N24°32': E0801°18' (Rewa district), on AMS sheet NG44-15 Rewa (U502 series, 1959 edition), and 4) About 200 km along the road north-west from Jabalpur (N23°26': E080°05').
