A spring at »Sitawar« understood MURTI (1972: 59) to be fed by a sink (no name mentioned; penetrable?) at an unspecified location somewhere north-west of Jhipan. SITUATION: The »spring at Sitawar« (MURTI 1972: 59) appears to correspond to the »Chitawar Spring« indicated near N21°35'57”: E081°58'35" (Everest 1830, Survey of India sheet 64-G/14) and about 1.75 km in a direct line north-north-west of Jhipan (N21°35'10": E081°59'03" Everest 1830), which lies at linear distances of about 15 km south of Bhatapara (N21°44': E081°56') and 53 km north-east of Raipur (N21°14': E081°38').
