An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to an unidentified cave called »Krem Skhum Khlein« (Raibok Patlong 1998.02.17 personal communication). ETYMOLOGY: The Khasi noun "u skum" signifies »a nest [note 1], a heap of grass [note 2], a butt« (SINGH, N 1906: 185) and the noun "ka khlein" is the word for »the lard, the fat« whilst the adjective "khlein" means »fatty, rich, oily« (SINGH, N 1906: 32). SITUATION: At an unidentified location somewhere in the vicinity of the village of Tongseng (N25°19'28": E92°30'05” WGS84) on the Shnongrim ridge.

NOTE 1: "u skum ki sim lane khñiang" (SINGH, N 1920: 337), the nest of a bird, worm or insect. NOTE 2: "ki shang lane ki synduk ba la kynton kawei halor kawei" (SINGH, N 1920: 337), literally: "the small basket or box piled up one upon the other" or liberally "an untidy collection of things piled up haphazardly" (Gebauer, H D 2012.12.19).
