Mutanda zone, Buzi district, Sofala province. GPS (WGS84) S 19°5531,6” / E 34°07'33,8" ca. 120 m asl. Surveyed on 3 Sept. 1999 by Jens Römer (BCRA-Grade 2a). Length: 8,00 m. Vertical range: -7,30 m. ml The entrance of the 8 m deep vertical pit (ladder or SRT required) is situated near Pequena Xonondo No. 9.
Description
The cave is just a vertical shaft in N 50° direction, which widens a little bit on the base. A lot of tree roots hang down into the pit. No bats. No evidence of conglomerate infillings.
