What appears to be a Trap-Well Cave is perhaps a pothole. ETYMOLOGY: The Khasi -ka ruh- is a cage, a snare (SINGH, N 1906: 176) and the Khasi verb -hiar“ means to go or come down, to descend while the adverb -hiar“ means down (SINGH, N 1906: 176). SITUATION: At an unknown location somewhere in the vicinity of the village of Samasi (I.B. near N25°24'01.6”: E92°32'57.4” WGS84).
