Description
The 8 m deep pit (steel rope ladder) has a crosssection of 2 x 3 m and leads down to a debris cone. From here a wide chamber with 4 meters height and a flat roof opens. The ground is even, apart from the heaps of stones of some breakdowns. Drainage ditches give evidence of periodically flowing water. The chamber measures 30 m in length whereby close to the entrance pit as well as in the northern part calcite decorations (stalactites, columns and calcite floors) are present. 15 m SW of the entrance pit a wide crawl leads on in S direction, which changes after 10 m into a 5 m high and 0.5-1 m wide rift with some calcite formations. The following small room has another climbable opening to the surface. To the left a small passage continues, which widens and adds further 30 m to cave’s length. The end is closed by a boulder choke, which connects to the steep cliff of the Buzi River. No bats could be seen. Only various spiders and insects were found in the cave. The cave does not have any conglomerate fillings. An air temperature of 21,3°C was measured.
