Description
NOTE 1: The Gorkhali (Eastern Pahari a.k.a. Nepali) "mul" translates as root, origin, source, spring and "pani" is the word for water. A village of »Mulpani« (PICKERING 1995a) is not identified.
A natural temple cave sacred to an unidentified goddess or god (probably Shiva?) »… had been used to worship a Hindu god judging by the offerings of money found in the first chamber« (PICKERING 1995a: 2). SITUATION: At an unspecified distance of 2 km (perhaps estimated walking distance in an unspecified direction) from a certain »Mulpani« (note 1) and »about 500 m up a very steep hill covered in thick jungle which we had to cut our way through.« PROSPECTS: »No ways on were found.« CAVE LIFE: PICKERING (1995a: 2) noticed »an abundance of bat droppings« suggesting the presence of Chiroptera.
