A relatively small, square shaped cave entrance, measuring roughly one metre in square, leads to joint guided cave passages of crawling size. Obviously a dry cave throughout the year. At two places, 2 m climbs up gain an overlying cave level. Compare –>Chandrapalle cave. SITUATION: About 2 km in a direct line south-south-east of –>Chandrapalle, within Jaladurgam Reserved Forest in the Payasamrangareddipalli (Pasumanpalli) area and hidden by vegetation at the bottom of a small limestone cliff at a height a few metres above the riverbed of an unidentified nala in an area were a bunch of pig hunters, equipped with lances, were met with. CULTURAL HISTORY - human use: Apparent signs of (archaeological?) excavations. CAVE CLIMATE: Temperature in the air was quite warm at 32°C on 22nd December 1996. CAVE LIFE: No bats were seen but bat droppings (keywords: guano, Chiroptera) covered surfaces.
